“The freer we become inside ourselves, the freer our world will be.”

Individual Therapy
Safety and comfort come first in our work. I often get cozy, take off my shoes, or sip tea, and I invite you to settle in however feels right for you. You do not have to hold anything together here. You get to arrive exactly as you are.
I show up as a real human, not a distant expert. I try to model authenticity and presence so that you can bring your full self into the room. I am committed to cultural sensitivity and to honoring the many identities you hold. You are welcome here in all the ways you move through the world, including your gender, race, ability, culture, body size, spirituality, sexuality, or neurotype.
Our sessions often blend conversation with mind-body awareness and experiential work. Many people I work with carry the effects of relational trauma, childhood emotional neglect, attachment wounds, anxiety, or chronic self-doubt. We often make space for younger or hurting parts of you that need care. We also acknowledge the protective strategies that once kept you safe but now feel heavy or limiting. At your pace, we begin to soften old survival patterns and increase self-compassion, trust, and connection.
If you are looking for trauma therapy in Seattle or online in Washington state that feels grounding and genuine, my approach centers on real connection. Together, we can create room for healing, whether it is emotional healing, relational healing, or nervous-system healing. You do not have to live like this, and you do not have to do any of this alone.
Eating disorder recovery is brave and challenging work. Many of the client’s I work with come to therapy feeling stuck, where parts of themselves value recovery, and yet, they have other parts that feel overwhelmed or unsure. Perhaps you have been doing the work of recovery, but still feel the call of your eating disorder. Maybe you want something more, but don’t always know how else to cope than going to your eating disorder behaviors.
Whether your eating disorder has been a way of coping with trauma, grief, oppression, emotional loneliness, weight stigma, neurodivergence, or something else entirely, you deserve support that honors your lived experience.
In our work, I will support you in connecting with your authentic values, so that you can:
Enjoy a wide variety of foods with more ease and self-trust
Share meals with others without fear or anxiety
Nourish yourself consistently so you have the energy to do what you love
Tolerate the discomfort or urges that show up after eating
Challenge internalized weight stigma
Trust yourself around food again
Move your body for joy or grounding rather than punishment or control
Reduce or quit body-checking behaviors
Begin to feel safer in your own skin
As your eating disorder therapist, we will work together to identify where you feel stuck and what your system is trying to protect you from. We will explore the parts of you that want freedom and the parts that feel afraid to let go of old patterns. Our work will be grounded in Health at Every Size® and always centered around your dignity. If you are ready for a more compassionate, sustainable way of living, I’m here to support you.
